My problem is that Organization Portlet does not display data when using mySQL.
I originally configured the default Liferay 5 application with Tomcat 5.5 using the Hypersonic database. At this point the I could view all the organizations that come with the demo database.
I switched to using a mySQL 5 database server with the application and have tried with both the create-mysql.sql and create-minimal-mysql.sql to initialize the database. In both instances, I login with the test@liferay.com admin account, start the Organization portlet and I am unable to see any organizations.
I know that there are records in the table and I am able create new organizations through the portlet and see them in the database. When viewing the User, I can see that the user is associated to the newly created organizations. However if I create a user and click on the button to select organizations to add the user to, the list is blank.
Does anybody have any ideas? I'm guessing that the mysql create scripts are missing some permissions record but I'm not sure where to start.
Thanks,
John
