I am observing that login.events.post event is generated only one the user uses singin post list to login. However, when the auto login happens due to rememberme check box of the previous login, then login post event routene is not called.

This seems to be misbehavour as event should be fired in any form of login i.e either form based or auto login.

Any liferay developers to comment on the desing of this event..

Is there any other event, which I could depend on to do some post login work, which should be called in any form of login (auto or form login).

the same problem ;(

My post login event gets fired when autologin is successful.

However, I also added extra filter URL to trigger the autologin event. When autologin is fired for the customized path in the filter, the post login event is not fired.
Looks like I need to include some extra filter to fire the postlogin event as well, but not sure which one.

Looks like Post login event is not triggerred if the auto login filter path is not handled by the main servlet.
