Hi,

I have imported another website as a portlet in liferay. when trying to edit the website from portlet, the edit options will be appeared in pop-up window from the site. Now in the portlet, pop-up window is displayed without any data in it. Could anyone tell me how to make the data displayed in the pop-up window.

I assume that you're using iframe portlet to display external web page inside a portlet.
It's kind of difficult to answer you question because there are so many technologies that may be used to display a popup.
Can you give us an URL to the site?

No i am not using the iframe portlet to display external web page. I have imported the website as a portlet in liferay via plugin installation.
When i use iframe and specify the source url, i am getting the popup properly displayed. if i use the imported portlet, the data in the popup box is not displayed.

Which plugin installation? It's impossible to answer your question because you haven't told us which portlet you're using nor which site nor any error messages.
If it's working with iframe portlet, why not use that?

Well, if your external site is displaying properly on IE and not on Firefox, you'll probably get better replies if you post your question to Firefox forum instead of here because it doesn't seems to liferay problem.
