Hi all,

I hope someone in this forum can help me with my problem.

Details : Liferay 6.0 EE SP2, SQL Server 2008, Tomcat
Fix Pack / Hot Fix : none applied

When I tried to define permission for my custom role, it's only showing empty page ( see image attached ).

On the log file, I can see only this error message :
 1
 216:47:53,903 ERROR [IncludeTag:410] Current URL /group/control_panel/manage?p_p_id=128&p_p_lifecycle=0&p_p_state=maximized&p_p_mode=view&doAsGroupId=10162&refererPlid=33066&_128_struts_action=%2Fenterprise_admin_roles%2Fedit_role_permissions&_128_cmd=view&_128_redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fporto%2Fgroup%2Fcontrol_panel%2Fmanage%3Fp_p_id%3D128%26p_p_lifecycle%3D0%26p_p_state%3Dmaximized%26p_p_mode%3Dview%26doAsGroupId%3D10162%26refererPlid%3D33066%26_128_struts_action%3D%252Fenterprise_admin_roles%252Fview%26_128_tabs1%3Droles%26_128_tabs2%3D%26_128_tabs3%3D%26_128_cur%3D1%26_128_delta%3D20%26_128_keywords%3D%26_128_advancedSearch%3Dfalse%26_128_andOperator%3Dtrue%26_128_description%3D%26_128_name%3D%26_128_type%3D0%26_128_orderByCol%3Dname%26_128_orderByType%3Dasc&_128_roleId=10144 generates exception: java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find resource for bundle com.liferay.portlet.PortletResourceBundle, key javax.portlet.title

I tried to install Liferay on new system, and install my custom portlets, no hot fix / fix packs applied, but the problem couldn't be replicated, so I couldn't do debugging.

Any help is appreciated

Hi Christianto,

unfortunately I don't have a solution to your problem, but I stumbled upon the exact same behaviour (thus I found your thread ;-) ).
Since you're on EE: Did you ever open a ticket with Liferay and if so, what was their response?

Best regards,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Sorry just saw your message. The problem was one of the portlet plugin was developed using Liferay's CE SDK, and deployed to Liferay EE.

Once we rebuild the portlet using Liferay's EE SDK, the error was gone. It means that CE and EE is not compatible. Guys, be careful.

Hope that helps.
