Hi all !

I'm using Liferay 6.0...
I'd like to know how to make an install of liferay with no default portlets. I mean, when I start my brand new liferay, it doesn't load any portlet and when I go to "Add/More" there is anything.

Is it possible and how...?

Thanks,

Regards,

Régis B.

Everything is a portlet so you would likely wind up with nothing. I believe the Add menu is controlled by webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/liferay-display.xml, edited it once to remove a few forbidden things from user reach with some success, check each portlet for a scrap of it in their app directory too. Might try changing those portlet's category name to, "category.hidden", for effect.

Following the guide to install liferay on an existing system. You'll need to setup an application server beforehand. I do this on all of my customer site setup. :-)
