Hi Folks,

We have a certain requirement for customization of chat portlet. We need the chat message to flash after the user re-logs in and until he clicks on it. As per my analysis the Chat portlet needs to be overridden. Main.js has the implementation of chat window and the various operations on the chat window. I tried playing around within the js in order to identify the unread messages and setAsUnread but it hasn’t worked so far. If anybody has worked on similar requirement your input would be very helpful for me. We are using Liferay 6.0 SP1 on tomcat 6.0.
