Is it possible to use
1urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:ac:classes:PasswordProtectedTransport:BasicAuthn
for specific configured SPs instead of using Login Form?

Not OOTB, Liferay uses the same authentication for all users though you might be able to create some custom filter to trigger Basic auth for some users.

Hi Mika,

Ive already tried with a BasicAuth filter by editing saml portlet redirecting to another url than /c/portal/login. The problem is now where to redirect from BasicAuth Filter after successfull authentication? Redirecting to /c/portal/saml/sso like you did by specifiing redirect param for /c/portal/login does not work. I just get a 302 and get redirected to /c/portal/layout. Whyever.... emoticon
