I was trying out the service builder and came across a problem for data type. I'm using postgreSQL for my database and I have a certain field that stores images and it has a data type "bytea". What is the equivalent of bytea in service builder? How does service builder implement storing images or some non-structured data?

Still learning Liferay....

It would be best to use the Document library API to store your binaries instead of putting them in the database.

Try specifying it in portal-model-hints.xml
