How to hide images in RSS feed

Hi,

I am using RSS portlet for displaying news feed, I don't want show images after clicking expand(plus image)tab.
How to resolve it, please help me.

Ramesh,

you can customize existing RS portlet using hook and can remove feedImageLink image src link from feed.jspf file of rss portlet (html\portlet\rss).

Hi ,

You can go to portlet configuration
Uncheck 'Show Feed Image' under 'Display Settings'.

Hi Ramesh,

That's good that your problem got resolved using hook.

But if you just don't want to display image,that thing is simply achievable by configuration.So its not good practice to change it by hook if you can do it by configuration as per my understanding.

I agreed with Dhrutika.
Id you can achieve the same thing by using configuration, then better to use that one.
Why we need to change code unnecessarily.
