We want to use Liferay 5.1.2 in clustered envorinment with Jboss AS.

Following articles suggest that EHCache does not support clustering.

Yes you can cluster ehcache. Look in portal.properties for the two settings. One is for hibernate second level cache and the other is for Liferay custom cache.
