Hi, is it possible to implement a workflow with the document library?
For example: Once a document is uploaded, it should not be visible till its been approved. An email should be sent to the approver and once its approved, the document can be seen by everybody.

Hi, I am also looking for simple review-approval workflow for document managment. The process will be

submitter will drop a doc into a DRAFT folder
system auto route the document to PENDING FOR APPROVAL folder
approver approve the document accordingly
if approved, system auto route the document to APPROVED folder
if rejected, system auto route the document to REWORK folder

Any help is appreciated

I checked everything, but I could not find anything. But the new features list for 6.0 includes that. Have you found something?

I have problem with workflow in liferay.

Below is my workflow config file. This workflow works great with blogs and page contents i.e. when I create new blog entry and blog is under workflow then this entry is waiting for approval and not logged user can not see it. But when I apply it to document library then it's not work so well. I expect that when I create new entry, then until it's fully approved I can not access it when I am not logged in. Whereas situation is that this entry has label '(waiting for approval)' but nothing else. I can download this resource when I am logged out (when I type url of this resource). My question is: when I assign workflow to document library what it really does except label '(waiting for approval)'?
