i have change the time zone of calendar from portal setting but when we add event in calendar and save them .then , our save date in database is different from what we entering in entring when we add event.

I use the tomcat as the portal pro sever. How to set the time zone? The server is running on GMT+0:00 time zone. I am a indian user.

As I understand it you set your JVM to GMT+0:00 in the JAVA_OPT as you have there, then all users pick their own location in their liferay user profile and all dates will be shown in the appropriate timezone for each user accordingly.

I want to set jvm to IST time zone so that we our database able to save time in IST not in GMT ,
present condiation my database save the calendar event time in GMT but i want to save in IST
