Hi friends,

I have a portlet which has jsp. Can that jsp be accessed directly through URL. for ex : "http://localhost:8080/web/portal/portletname/system/jsp" As far as i know the portlet

container dosent allow so. Whats your say.

Try by creating portletURL with render phase.

PortletURL portletUrl = PortletURLFactoryUtil.create(portletRequest, "example_WAR_demoportlet", plid, PortletRequest.RENDER_PHASE);
portletUrl.setWindowState(LiferayWindowState.NORMAL);
//set other required parameters.

Thanks for the reply ,but I need just give the url something like this :

http://localhost:8080/web/portal/portletname/system/jsp on the browser, I am not supposed click on the page guess what you are saying is redirecting the portlet

to another page, am I right..?

Hi,

You can't access directly your portlet jsp page as you want.

you can set friendly URL to your page as you wish.
