Hi,

We currently use the LR session extend functionality, with the following config:

session.timeout=5
session.timeout.warning=1
session.timeout.auto.extend=true
session.timeout.redirect.on.expire=true

This works as expected, the load on the server doesn't cause issues.

We would like to now enable 'Remember Me' on top of session extend. When testing with 'Remember Me' enabled we noted that the
session extend functionality wasn't working, and tracked it to:

server\default\deploy\ROOT.war\html\common\themes\session_timeout.jspf

So by design the session extension functionality in session.js is initialised only if the 'Remember Me' cookie is null / non existent.

Has anyone hooked session_timeout.jspf to override this functionality so that 'Remember Me' and Session Extension can be used in parallel?

We already use session extend so don't have a concern about these sessions remaining open. Does 'Remember Me' have any server side logic that deals with session extending that I should consider?

Thanks,
Michael
