Hi All,

I want to remove some hyperlinks in sign-in portlet.I have read forums and I have placed the code inside plugins folder of portal-ext.properties file.
I do nt want go with admin portlet using control pannel. I am using liferay 6 version.

 2To remove the password reminder put this in your portal-ext.properties:

But here I am not seeing effect w r to my code after deploying the plugins.

Hi Kiran,

Using navigation.jspf in login portlet, you can remove those hyperlinks which are not required.

Hi,

Once you add any property to your portal-ext.properties file ,you always need to restart your liferay for the changes to take effect.

You're suppose to placer portal-ext.properties file under ROOT\WEB-INF\classes folder in your liferay installation.

For more detailed information about where portal-ext.properties file can be placed please see this post

Also, the above mentioned properties are available in Contlor Panel -> Portal -> Portal Settings
- first two in Authentication
- third one in Authentication -> OpenID
So you can try to change them there and see the effect without restarting the server. However keep in mind that once changed from the UI they will be stored in the database and further changes to portal-ext.properties will be silently ignored.
