HI,

I have LifeRay and CAS set up to work with each other. The idea is to use CAS as an SSO solution.
I have also configured CAS to authenticate using the Active Directory.

But now, when I login to CAS LifeRay does not let me in because the user doesnt exist in liferay's db.
I have already done the following in the hopes that liferay will automatically import the users from CAS:
  1. check the checkbox under settings-authentication-LDAP-import LDAP
  2. added a value in the portaal-ext.properties file

But the user is still not created in liferay.
No errors in any log files.

Can someone kindly point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance

Right now I just have a silly work-around where I create the user through liferay first, then enable CAS so that I'm logged in as that user into liferay as well.

But I would really appreciate if anyone can suggest an appropriate resolution

Hi Sameera,
For enabling CAS, there is a separate CAS tab in the Liferay Authentication settings.
There you can specify your CAS URL and test the configuration.

Thanks,
