Hi,

I have downloaded the Netbeans 7.1, the Portal pack plug in and the liferay SDk and the serevr. I have install the plug in in netbeans successfully and add the Liferay server in the Netbeans. when I created a web application with portal support and try to run the application its giving me error. The error message showing that auto deployment dir is not set.

I have pointed the auto deploy dir to tomcat home/webapp

Please suggest.

Thanks
Swastik

Try setting it to the "deploy" directory above the tomcat directory.

But I am not able to find the portlet.

Is there now a directory under the webapps for the portlet you've created?

Is the problem that portlet files are not being deploy to the app server or that you can't find it in the "Add" menu?

Thanks
