Not able to navigate the default landing page in liferay 6.1

Hi All,

I am going to set the default landing page my application.Suppose when the user type "localhost:8080",

I have to navigate to specifice page say "defaultpage".

I put the code in properties file as follows:

2default.landing.page.path=/web/guest/defaultpage


It is not working and It is showing the warning message in log file.

1WARN  [404_jsp:?] /defaultpage

Help me I am I missing any thing.

Please check whether you have created that default page or not.

Instead of property, You can achieve this through Control Panel configuration:

Did you read the following page?

default.landing.page.path=
#default.landing.page.path=/web/guest/login

You'll have to set following as well.
auth.forward.by.last.path = true

However, it just seems you're missing the default page.
