Hi,

I was developing a portal using liferay 6.0.
I took the mysqldump of liferay database in linux machine and run the script in windows machine.

I found our portlets missing permissions for roles i defined.
Before that we got mysql error no. 1153 in middle of executing Liferay database dump.

Please help me to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance..
Vijayakumar

Try with below code might be it will work emoticon
 1
 2For the client, you can specify it on the command line:
 3
 4mysql --max_allowed_packet=100M -u root -p database < dump.sql
 5
 6Also, change the my.cnf or my.ini file under the mysqld section and set max_allowed_packet=100M or you could run these commands in a MySQL console connected to that same server:
 7
 8set global net_buffer_length=1000000;
 9set global max_allowed_packet=1000000000;
10
11(Use a very large value for the packet size.)

Hi Manish,

Thanks for your reply. Its clears mysql error no. 1153.
But portlets missing permissions for roles still remains.

Thanks in advance.

permission values are stored in DB.
1. Are you using same version of mysql in windows and linux
2. Could you check with DataMigration menu available in control panel .It will automatically do dataMigration.
3. What are the other thing missing after dataMigration
