Hi,

Is there a way to enable a user group or role to have permission to use the 'Add Content' feature from the drop down menu?

Currently, I can only do so with users who are assigned to the Administrator role. I would like to give users the ability to add content to pages, but not full Admin privileges.

Thank you.

Hello,

as far as I know, You can regulate it only by the sites dedicated to the communities. If You create the community, then You can then assign the permissions to the community. Between theese rights are the rights "manage pages" and "Administrate". I do not know if You want both to add the content to the community page or only the "manage pages", but at least You do not have to assign to the users the "big Administrator" role...

I do not have any idea how to make it by the sites dedicated to the Power Users, Organizations and Locations - The access rights for it are not visible there, I do not know why...

with best regards

Archie

Hey Scott

I've been working on this for a bit and like Artur I've only been able to get users with the community permission "manage pages" to be able to add and remove content. I'll post again if I can figure out if its possible any other way, particularly through use of roles.
