Hi all!

If you write a new forum-post and enter a subject line like
This is a "TEST" line

and you hit the preview button, than in the preview it was shown correct, but in the new loaded edit fields the subject line now looks
This is a

Behind the quote sign all was cut - including the quote sign. I assume this is not the right behavior emoticon

if you have a look in the html source you find
<input class="" ... value="This is a " TEST="" line="" onkeypress="Liferay.Util.checkMaxLength(this, 75);" type="text">

Im not shure about the real scope of this "feature" (it s only the preview!), but I can imagine if someone is a bore he can try to use this for hacking and embed sneaking some javascript. Did you know about this? Is it critical or is this correct and the system still save?

Perhaps it helps emoticon

Hey Trollbahrt-
Just wanted to say that I was able to replicate the same behavior you found. I'm not really sure about the implications it could have for security - you should open a support ticket about this detailing the steps you went through to cause the error.

Hello again!
I just heard that this bug will be fixed in Liferay 4.4! Forum preview users rejoice! hehe. I'll make a support ticket for this bug at support.liferay.com for now just to keep record of it. Oh, btw, could you add a (resolved) tag to your subject header? emoticon
thanks!

Hi,

Jorge wrote "(...) No, that will go into 4.4, but it should be released very soon. It's initially planned for mid December and we are already starting the Q.A. process." emoticon
