I have a customer situation where Liferay needs to be run in an ASP mode. I understand the limitation to community sharing across instances, but I am wondering if there's a work-around for this. There's a need to be able to share the Collaboration Suite of portlets in communities across instances.

Thanks for your help!

If your instances are portal instances that have single shared collaboration community :
- making this collaboration community public (no code customization)
- running this collaboration community as portal instance and organizing own authentication pipe for this community (have not done this yet, but possible)

If ASP/business rules would allow to implement customer instances as communities on single portal instance, that removes all single-sign-on headaches.
