Hello,

I would like to do a small modification on the directory portlet. I would just like to change a few things in the template. How can I find the source code for this portlet and export it to a War file so I can deploy it in Liferay?

I'm open to any other solutions.

You can also download the plugin sdk and copy the directory jsp pages and make modifications to the files there.

I've made a hook for the modifications. Still, thanks for the tips. I'll try and have a look at the plugin SDK. It could be interresting.

A hook is definitely a good way to make the modification if you didn't want to create a separate portlet or modify the source. I forgot about that method.

I am trying to duplicate the directory porltet with some slight modifications. I know most of it can beachieved through a hook, but we have a requirement for a second portlet.

Could you please help me. I have downloaded the 6.1 portal source

I need to know about how to package the duplicate portlet with the original liferay jsps, java classes. And what kind of configuration files needs to be copied etc.

Advise please.
