Hi,

Somehow, mistakenly I created a page under 'Private pages' of guest community. Now system is not allowing me to delete the private page.

Can someone suggest how to delete this page?

If I go to manage pages and try to delete the page it says - "Cannot delete this page because you are currently accessing this page".

If I try to delete the page through "Display order" it says - "You must have at least one page."

Please advice....

Hi,
Because of same page(current page ) itself u r trying to delete that page .U cant delete.Go to another private page(by default welcome) and through manage pages u can delete as usual.

Let me put it in other words -

Say i have only one page "Welcome" in my private pages and i want to delete "Welcome page". What should i do here ?

Navigate to control panel->Communities->Guest Community->Manage Pages
now click on Private pages
select the page and click on delete button.

Hi Rashmi, It doesn't work...

I faced a similar problem and found a workaround solution (Liferay 6.1.1. GA2):

Make sure no one but the Owner role (which presumably is the Administrator) has any permission on this last page. Although you still won't be able to delete the page, nobody (but the Admin) will be able to access it, or even know of its existence. Also, the link to the site's Private Pages from Go To will disappear for all users but the Administrator.

Still, I wonder why deletion of the last page is impossible.
