Hi all

I need some help in deploying Liferay in my Centos 5.4 server. I found that after starting Liferay I can't open any session with browser on port 8081 as configured in file server.xml, although It appears that in Tomcat´s log all things go well, except for the following line in catalina.out log:

09:34:52,065 INFO [HotDeployUtil:129] Queue sevencogs-hook for deploy because its dependencies are not available

I've attached catalina.out log and server.xml for more datails.
I am using Liferay 5.2.3, tomcat 6.0.18 and JDK 1.6_u20.

I'll greatly appreciate any help. Thanks
Attachments: catalina.out (8.0k), server.xml (6.5k)

What happens when you type http://localhost:8081 in your browser? Any error in the log when you do that?

Hi Sandeep

I found that the problem was a firewall service enabled in the Centos server emoticon
that's why port 8081 was blocked. I've disabled firewall and now I can open connection
on port 8081.

Thanks anyway

HI Aniruddha,

U will have to add check for it in portal_normal.vm file
like below

/home below is the friendly url for home page..

#if ($has_navigation && !$theme_display.getURLCurrent().contains("/home"))
#parse ("$full_templates_path/navigation.vm")
#end

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
AP
