Hello,

I'm pretty new to liferay and jsf 2.0. I'm having a lot of trouble getting my jsf2.0 hello world app to run in lifray 6. I keep getting an UnsupportedOperationException.

I'm using JSF 2.0, but I've read here that only IceFaces is supported. What is the difference between the two? Is it possible to deploy JSF 2.0 portlets into liferay? Where can I find examples of jsf 2.0 portlets running on liferay? Is there and IRC channel somewhere I could chat on to ask some newbie questions like this?

Thanks for any help,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Sorry for the late reply but I just saw your post after doing a search. The new Liferay Faces Bridge is compatible with ICEfaces, PrimeFaces, and RichFaces and there are many demo portlets available for download.
