I got this exception several times. Could anyone guide me to handle it?

I don't know if you are talking about a lucene exception I resolved it removing a file named "write.0" or "lock.0" I don't remember well.

It was located on C:\Documentas and settings\[your_user]\liferay\lucene

What version of Liferay are you using?
A fix for a similar bug was integrated into the Liferay trunk a few weeks ago. The errors were coming due to stale locks of Lucene.
The workaround suggested in the other response to this tread will also resolve the issue until it reoccurs :-)
Just delete that directory and restart your webcontainer.
