Hi,
You can achieve this using javascript or jquery plugin. Just add images which you want slide and use the slide function jquery.

well....actually i am trying hard to get this....i have done almost all the experiments, still doing....still not getting....in one thread i wanted the first slider, another one for the slider that is below to the first slider....that is what all about.....

yeah Hi Sri !!

actually yeah i have got some idea.....i followed to this link to achieve what i wanted "http://myjavaexp.blogspot.com/2010/11/integrating-coin-slider-with-liferay.html"....images was not showing using this....then i thought its the problem of JQUERY....then raised the question in the forum...got some links for jquery...added this in my theme's portal_normal.vm file------> <script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"></script>.....still images are not displaying.... emoticon

Did you look into Developer tools (Ctrl+Shift+I) -> Network tab in chrome? Maybe you are getting 404 error. Check your page source code.

hi Mani !!

i went through ur blog (http://www.liferay.com/web/jonas.yuan/blog/-/blogs/5241428).....from there i took the war of sample jquery portlet and dumped into the deploy folder. This portlet has multiple tabs and links. I did some modifications in its view.jsp but its not reflecting. What need to do if i want FadeIn link without "click to FadeIn link"(means automatically) with multiple images....??
