Can 5.2 documentation work for new 6.0.x version

I want to get started with more advanced site designs, templates, styles, extending fields on existing tables, changing id field types.

Do any of the 5.x documentations cover this?

Dennis, can you be a little more specific about which 5.x documentation you're referring to? If you can provide a link to the documentation, it'll be easier to let you know if the documentation still applies to 6.0.x
