Dear buddies,

I need to check on the files stored on the main page of the portal.

In which table should I be looking for it?

Thanks - Alagu

You mean, you want to get details about the files which is stored in document library?
I am confused here with "files stored on the main page" word.
Could you please clarify in some more details ?

Dear Jignesh,

First of all thanks for replying my questions.

My main page has announcements/portlets containing files. Wondering where the files are being stored and in which table I can look for these references.

Thanks - Alagu

Ideally liferay store all the files in document and media library.
And in back end it stores files in repository and all other name and metadata will be stored in DB tables called dlfileentry
Hope this is the information you are looking for .

The front page of our LMS (Learning Management System) has announcements for students. Usually, we upload some jpg or other format images as announcements. So, had to know where is it stored and how to refer the details of each portlet in the database.

We are trying to automate the process along with another application in the university.

Thanks - Alagu
