Pricing of CE and EE versions

Are CE and EE versions of the same portlet treated differently or are they treated as the same portlet? That is, it is possible to set different pricing and terms of conditions on them?

Thanks for answering. I think this also implies CE and EE are actually treated as different plugins and "CE" and "EE" are just metadata to set during the upload process.
