Creating jsp in root folder to display tomcat logs

Hi,

I want to have a jsp for analysing tomcat logs. So far i had it in the portlet and i am able to see it. But now I want it to be

inside root folder of tomcat. I am planning to use ext-plugin approach, so far i havent been successful in this endeavour. Any suggestions

how to go about it or should i create hook.
