Bradley Woods' Zoe-tech theme/ adding child menus

I have been playing with the zoe-tech theme. Brad does some interesting things in that theme. I am not a developer (admin) but have been successful in creating custom themes.

The problem I am having with Brad's zoe-tech theme is that I can't add child menus in the custom.css that will work. Brad uses a very different style of css from the 'classic theme' style. If I copy over the code for child menus from 'classic' I always get a build error.

Has anyone added child menus to zoe-tech? If so, would you be so kind to show an example of what that code looked like.

thanks

Bradley: Your code worked flawlessly. Thank you for that. I am having a slight problem with width. My pages have long names, so I tried to increase the child menus width. No luck. Whatever I try does not seem to make a difference. Is there a way to have two column menus with flexible width?

thanks

thank you. I will try the min-width. The menu is nice and simple. Just need to adjust the width.

thanks again
