I am using Liferay 6.1.20-ee-ga2. I found in portal.properties there is simultaneous logins property which is mentioned below :

# Set the following to true if users are allowed to have simultaneous logins
# from different sessions. .
#
auth.simultaneous.logins=true
It also says that "This property is not used unless the property "live.users.enabled" is set to true" and default behavior is set to false.
I am not overriding any of the property but still I am able to login from different sessions. This means that by default I can login from different sessions.
Please provide your inputs or correct me if I am wrong in understanding.
