kaleo:An error occurred in the workflow engine

Hello, I'm learning kaleo on liferay 6.1.1 ce, when I follow what said in this article and upload the definition xml in workflow portlet under control panel to create a new definition, it throws error :An error occurred in the workflow engine. No details are told. You can find my definition.xml in the attachment. I don't think there are some syntax errors in it cause it is made with liferay developer ide.

Let me know that this error comes on UI when we have mistake in our workflow definition.

Further, I checked your definition file and found that you don't have appropriate mapping for "QA Join" which you have mentioned in you definition file on line no.94
<transition>
<name>Pass To QA Join</name>
<target>QA Join</target>
</transition>

This is the mistake I found , correct it and try to upload it again.

thank you for the helpful reply, I removed the QA Join but still fail to import it to liferay. Updated xml is uploaded, pls take a look at it, thank you so much!

I went through your workflow definition and found some more basic mistakes.

I suggest you to first try to understand single-approval- workflow definition file which liferay provides as default.
Then make a simple fork/join example.

you can get some good stuff and examples from below thread.

I made the xml using liferay developer studio according to this, and didn't get any clue from reading through single-approval-workflow definition, I'll do more research and read the thread you mentioned, I'll update the thread if I solve it. Thanks for your information.

I tried again and read through the log discovering that I defined a nonexisting user oasis in task Project Management, after I change it to another existing user, the error disappeared. Not have much more time for trying any longer cause I have more urgent task now, when I get time for it, I will update the thread.
