File/Documents, direct download from S3?

I have the document library configured to store files in S3 on Amazon.

When downloading I noticed it appears that the files are being proxied through Liferay rather than a direct download via an S3 url.

Is there anyway to configure it so that the download links go direct to S3 and not proxied via the liferay instance I am hitting?

The S3Store is just that a binary store for the Liferay document library. There's currently no way to directly point the files on S3.
