nested web content

hi, I am new to Liferay and i have a requirement to perform i.e to schedule 3 liferay web content and display them in a 'single web content display' using carousel so that when my scheduled web content expires then the other two still visible on WCD.

You should be able to do this using an Asset Publisher and an application display template. You need to implement the display template of course, the carousel display template of media library should give you some hints how to do this.
