Many Java Developers have already discovered how the edoras framework has been enabling them to work more efficiently. Even proven Java Frameworks like Liferay and Spring have discovered this potential for their frameworks. Key technologies that were developed in the edoras framework are being integrated in their core code. As key committer mimacom has been given the privilege to work for Spring 3.1 and Liferay 5.3. Spring will be integrating edoras conversation management in Spring 3.1. The edoras workflow has been choosen as the workflow of choice by Liferay. Especially for you as supporter of our community we would like to offer you an opportunity to get a preview of those innovative features. Under the generic topic „Building Enterprise Applications“ we are offering several expert webinars with the following subjects:
  • edoras extended scopes and conversation management
  • Portlets with edoras PortletFaces
  • edoras workflow

edoras PortletFaces
The ongoing goal of the PortletFaces project is to make it easier to develop JSF portlets that run within Liferay Portal. The project contains a wealth of features that expose the standard features of the Portlet 2.0 API and vendor-specific features of Liferay in a way that is natural to JSF development. PortletFaces was founded by Joel Kozikowski and Neil Griffin and was originally sponsored by Liferay, Inc. under incubation. Since then, PortletFaces has been adopted by mimacom ag and is a sub-project of the edoras framework.
