Where to keep portlet library files ??

I have developed many portlets in liferay using SDK. But in all my portlets i keep library files(JARS) inside web-inf/lib of each portlet. So because of redundancy of jars,I AM PLANNING TO KEEP ALL JARS REQUIRED FOR PORTLETS INSIDE TOMCAT AT A COMMON PLACE. SO what should i do now. where to keep my jars.. Please help
