We are into media sector. We recently migrated our news article in to liferay webcontent. As described
here .
We have migrated approximately 50 thousand of articles. After migrating we observed that the performance of the webcontent portlet in control panel, has degraded significantly.
Once we click on the webcontent, it takes approximately 90 seconds to load the initial list of 20 webcontents. Although the assetpublisher is loading the same webcontents in normal amount of time.
We are using default liferay configurations of LR 6.2 bundled with tomcat with mysql 5.5.
Is there anything that we can check for the same?
Or had anybody tried to use the Web contents in large number? Cause our portal will grow and still we are to migrate approximately 3 Lakhs+ articles.
Is there any specific amount of web contents that can be considered as maximum??
