Important: Changing the translations mechanism

Hi everyone,

thanks to Milan Jaros and Daniel Sanz (and more people involved) we will start using an online translation tool called Pootle for translating Liferay, which means that you translators won't have to modify the Language.properties files anymore.

Today we will post the complete instructions to start using this tool. You are all invited to start using it and give us feedback about it. We will start using it for the plugins and if everything goes fine in the next weeks we will start using it also for the portal, so, please, stop working on your properties files until this process is finished.

If you have changes in your properties files that you want to contribute, please do it this week; otherwise, please wait for Pootle to be ready and available and apply your changes there.

The new translation tool Pootle is very good because it greatly simplifies our translation work.
We have got problems to translate all the entries to basque (we have got the 99%) particularly with Wsrp Portlet translations. (Picture 1)

If we click the fifth entry we get the following picture (Picture 2 and 3)

Hey Everyone!

Now the portal itself is also available for translate through Pootle! (Thanks to Milan again and Daniel)
Please, don't work in properties files anymore for updates, use this instead. (We will still need the properties files for adding new languages)

Hi all,

got fixed!!. Just for Liferay Sync project we are not using our scripts to keep up-to-date pootle DB wrt git.

Please let us know if you find this again.
