Is it on purpose that liferay blogs show only 20 last posts?

I use it a lot and there are very important posts in the past which I don't have a convenient access anymore.

The default configuration was 20 so I've set it to 100. Hope that's enough =)

What is the reason to limit at all?
It doesn't affect performance due to pagination and caching you have. There is nothing you need to hide in the past.

The blog posts are very important to the community, there is a lot of useful information which you can't find anywhere else. And I have the whole Liferay documentation there is.
If you must specify a limit parameter than please change it to 1000.

No reason, it's just that the blogs aggregator portlet has a limit. If you think it should be different, feel free to open a ticket at http://issues.liferay.com.

100 is the limit but I can rejigger it using firebug to 1000 ;)
