Liferay 6.0.6: Can journal article be shared between two comminities ?

Hi All,

This question is for Liferay 6.0.6.

If I have two communities C1 and C2 owned by same user and a journal article
called "news1" (also owned/created by the same user) is it possible to share
"news1" with both C1 & C2 communities ?

There is a column groupId in journalArticle table. So wondering how can it be shared with
more than one community ?

thanks in advance.

Yes,you can share the content between two communities but you need to create the content in global under other and then do the following thing:
1. Add web content portlet
2. Click the select web content icon.
3. Select Global under My Places combo box and click search then the all articles will display and you can use it in any communities .

Thanks Anil for response.

When you say global, I assume you are referring to 'global scope' right ?

I was wondering if possible to create a web content which can be shared
ONLY between two communities. Global scope would allow in any any
communities, right ?
