I like http://stackoverflow.com/ system where all the answers can be evaluated if they are usefull or not and according this info they are ordered in the given thread. You can even evaluate the question itself. I don't know if it can be incorporated into the current Message board portlet via a new mode (like flat/threaded/combination/ordered-by-votes) or a new portlet is requied. Anyway, it would be a great improvement.

in the messageboards i need to display the thread replay message based on the latest date.Means last replay message need to display on top position.
