login.create.account.allow.custom.password - in 6.1

Hi! I'm trying to use the above property in liferay 6.1.

login.create.account.allow.custom.password=true.
The password fields correctly shows in the login page, but as I register a user and try to enter, I'm asked to enter a new password

Am I doing anything wrong? Are there other properties I ought to set?
All worked fine in 6.0.6, no need to choose a new password at first login.
please help!

In 6.1 by default, a password reset is required after the first login. To change this, you would need to go to the control panel and edit the default password policy.

Hello! I have the same problem! I'm in my control page and I'm in setting password.
I saw that I have 2 check button: changeable and change required.

I uncheck "Change required" because I have seen "If this is checked then a user is required to change their password when they first login".

But when I create an user system ask me to rechange password.

What I have wrong?

Then if I uncheck also changeable button system say "your request failed to complete"

Any tips?

I went under "password policies" under the control panel, and created a new policy with "change required" deselected.

It seems it is late but I had same Issues and it solved when I restart tomcat!
may be it helps other people.
