I have created a theme project. When I sign in for first time, welcome page of liferay is displayed .My theme gets applied only when I view public pages for signed in user provided by Liferay. What I mean to say is, my custom pages are being shown as public pages only.I want to know,if I have done sth wrong,or its the default behaviour.
Do I need to create new organization or sth?

Hi,
Go to manage pages and check whether your custom theme has been applied to that page or not?

Hello Apoorva,
There is no problem with applying theme.MY problem is:
1>I can see my pages in Public pages only.(Public pages come after I sign in with a users' credential and select my public pages from the list of my private page , my public page, liferay.com)
2>By default after login home page opens, and any change in home page like, adding new page in it,or removing any web-content from it doesn't persist after server restart.
After I navigate to public pages ,i can see the pages created by me and they have the theme which i created.

Sorry Abhi, I was not understanding your issue clearly...
The only thing I can suggest for the current scene is to remove the 7cogs related portlets and hooks from the web apps folder, if you are doing this on new server installation...
Hope this wil help you.
Thanks and Regards,
Apoorva Prakash
