Hi all,

When we use any layout say 30:70 the one on the left is at extreme left. Normally in web pages the left one is not at extreme left but a little bit away from left. How can we do this in liferay because when we select say 30:70 the web content display in 30 is at extreme left. Hope you understood my query?

I think Corné gave you a very execellent suggestion to read the forum guidelines and post messages to the right forum.
Unless you can convince everybody that your question is about translating liferay messages, I don't think you'll get any
better suggestion.

Hi, you have several options before modifying a standad layout.

At first, you could make a new layout with the plugins sdk. I recommend you visit this page, it contains appreciated information about layouts creating layouts templates

You could too edit the portlet's style contained at left of the layout and assign it some padding-left pixels.

I believe this has nothing to do w/ the selected layout and everything to do with the applied theme.

If I wanted a margin on the left side, I wouldn't go tampering w/ the layout to make it happen. I'd make a change to the theme to include the margin.
