Need to set a request parameter in Dock.vm Dynamically

Hello,
I need to set a request parameter in dock.vm file dynamically. actually i have one input as type text after user enters the relevant data in the text field i need to send that to action as a request paramater . I have seen that we can send the request parameters as a part of query string but not seen any of the paramater send Dynamically .

Please provide me with some relevant solution ..

Here in the code i have added in dock.vm

<input id="toggle_id_enterprise_admin_user_searchkeywords" name="searchString" size="30" type="text" />
