Dear all,
The login to my portal is managed by LDAP. When l changed my password in the directory, it has not been impacted on Liferay and l'm still using my old password to login. How could l achieve the synchronization?
thx

Hi Malik,

It highly depends on your configuration of fetching the users. By default Liferay uses the bind and the LDAP directory should not let you in.

You can set the LDAP authentication to be required, in that case the portal won't let you in without checking the LDAP.

Please also know that LDAP can store multiple passwords for the same "entry" so this might be the issue for you as well, please test if you can still log in to LDAP with your old password.

Hello. I have the same problem but i dont want my old password. I need to check with the ldap. if I change my password in the LDAP able to enter.That is always kept synchronized. Depends only on the import attribute? Bind?

ldap.auth.method=bind

What should set the timing for each such change password?

Very Thanks!

Also check if you have correct Export configuration.
