Dynamic scheduled task

Hello every body,
I'm new in liferay, and i want to create a dynamic scheduled task, I mean i want to edit the trigger dynamicly and store the information in database, I used QUARTZ API 2.1.6, it worked fine without liferay but using liferay it didn't work , the job is never execued but it is stored in the database.
Could you help me?

Is this any where related to Calendar out-of-box portlet.May be have a look at this.
